Ok so they're sending me off to the high risk doc Tuesday and I was told I would be getting a Level II ultrasound and a chat with a genetic specialist if I'd like one. What exactly does that mean (Level II, I mean)? I was expecting more blood testing because the reason I'm being sent there is my super low platelet count.

Hi! I'm right around 17 weeks with my first. I'm 32 (33 on delivery) so it might just be my only, depending on how this one goes. So I had my 33 week appointment today. My BP got up to 165/115 last night, then today at my doc appt it was 101 - went down to 98 when I laid on my left side. My OB prescribed me 2 different meds for it and all the swelling, and pretty much told me he was mainly trying to keep me stable until I got as close to full term as possible ( Read more... )

and now I am a little nervous! I had the last part of the triple intergrated screening done on 2/26. Basically, you get bloodwork and an ultra sound done around 12-14 weeks and go back for a second round of bloodwork around 16-18 weeks. I am 13 weeks pregnant with #3. I was informed after #2 that due to antibodies in my daughters blood that I developed antigens in my blood. have any of you women gotten the ultrascreen ultrasound/blood work done? what kind of ultrasound was done? is it just a normal external ultrasound or vaginal? I am going for another doc appt tomorrow then an ultrasound and also blood work that I forgot about. I'm 29 weeks and I think the blood work is for the glocose test.
